Lorama, Inc. Acquires Specialty Chemical Sales

The acquisition of Specialty Chemical Sales, Inc. by Lorama, Inc. was completed Thursday June 30th, 2011. The SCS team is excited and proud to be joining an organization that values it’s people, customers and principals as key partners for success. The entire SCS organization will remain intact and daily business functions will not change. Lorama has some differentiating attributes that we will take advantage of for the mutual benefit of our customers and principals.
Lorama is a privately held company based in Milton, Ontario Canada. They have two key elements to there growing business. First, they are an international distributor of raw materials focused towards Paint&Coatings, Plastics and Industrial applications. Lorama is also the leading global producer of Polysaccharide resin chemistry. SCS will provide the channel to the US market for this line of growing products. This technology will strengthen our presence in the key markets we serve.
